A sound file manager with powerful import and export abilities. If you are using music-making apps, then this tool is a must-have!

Organize all your soundfiles and midifiles on your device, and manage your AUM recordings. Record, trim, convert, normalize, transfer, export, import, zip, unzip. Create folders, rename and move files and folders around, put everything where you can find it.

Use it to transfer files between apps and between your device and computer. For example, transfer your new track from your favorite music-making app and import into the AudioShare library, then share it on your SoundCloud account, or transfer it into other apps. Or record your live-jam from other IAA or Audiobus apps.

You can record directly in the app, from microphone, external audio interfaces, Inter-App Audio, or other Audiobus compatible apps. Preview and play soundfiles with waveform display and looping, trim and normalize soundfiles, and convert to other file formats such as M4A AAC or ALAC (Apple Lossless), WAV, AIFF, CAF with options for bit rate or bit depth and sample rate.

there were so many update from OS and from Audiobus needing updates from all APPS that you MUST NOT follow negative advices ; NOW WHAT EVER you use or play, there is NO BUG! recording, playing, editing tool, inserts and rerecording , sending, transfering, transformat; this APP does MIRACLES, at least..the JOB! coupled with AUM you ALSO have now the BEST midi/audio...AUDIOBUS you could dream far BEYOND any other APP specifications, mainly from itsERGONOMY audio AND MIDI real time :it SUMS everything ALL inserts IAA can do with EASE to switch screens like NONE So ,sorry: my old advice was WRONG (both apps) AudioShare desserves now 9 STARS.... my old advice : NO CHANGE !!!!( only better!) pity, no 6 stars available. impossible to DO music without AudioShare. Dont miss it: for playing, recording then tailoring, edititing loops to share or save thru inserts for file finalizing options. Files player can use inserted apps: presets can match ANY medium corrected to keep suiting sound Recorder Live: playing inserted synth chained with effects: AudioShare turns now an amazing effective easy Audiobus (AUM is better!!) saving your presets to swap on the fly ANY possibility is logic, quick,EASY and safe!!! thanks for making our musical life so miraculous

Great app to manage audio files. But you upload your tracks in soundcloud, the app adds a description : "uploaded with AudioShare http://..." I have no problems with ads in free apps, but I bought this one. I dont want my tracks to be a support for your ads. When my tracks are used in ads, I usually get paid.

My go to before I go further. My reference tool, my compiler, my recorder, my musical best friend. Thank you Jon

For anyone who edits music a lot this is a must have app. If I could give it 6 stars I would!

This is one of those apps that everyone needs who works with, or plays with, music. You can be sure that everything that this app is supposed to do, it does amazingly well with a fantastic interface. It is a classic app. All the apps by this developer are great. He only creates superb apps. Its as if he sees something lacking that musicians need and he creates a cool app to take care of it.

If you are a musician or someone working with audio recordings on iOS, this app is indispensable. Nuff said.

Some bad moments

App is basically worthless to me, WASTE OF MONEY!! NO IMPORTING FOLDERS??? REALLY??? IM SO SICK OF PURCHASING THESE STUPID APPS THAT YOU WOULD ASSUME THE IPAD IS JUST SIMPLY CAPABLE ENOUGH TO DO ON ITS ONWN!!! I dont understand why Im unable to import a folder of samples into majority of my projects. I bought the app to import files without iTunes connection. A few apps will allow bulk import, but most of the SAMPLES & PRESETS ONLY LOAD ONE AT A TIME!!! Ridiculous.. Especially when you have a pack with hundreds of samples or patches. Your sitting on your iPad for a few hours transferring files and not productively making music.

Just spent 45 minutes trying to connect the app to my Dropbox on a new iPad, what should be super simple made utterly overly complicated. Dont get me wrong it is a necessity in the iOS music world, but maybe dont make the security stronger than my banks.

It is also no longer recognized by Final Touch and the app is saying that Audio Share is not installed...

It keeps saying its a wrong format. Im trying to export a .wav file to Audiobus2 via the button.

wow misleading. sounded like it was possible to organize my ipads many audio files... this is not the case. one must FIRST import every audio file into this one... there is no capacity to see what is in other apps or to organise files from other apps. Hoping to clear up some much needed space, instead a waste of money. if you are looking for an ios file organizer, this is not it. these rave reviews? are you guys serious? well not serious musicians anyway. at this rate let your ios daw do the organising, simpler and more effective.

UPDATE: STILL THE BEST! Just buy it. A great tool for recording and simple audio edits. Integrates well with other apps.
